Eric Surkamp: The Next Superstar?

We pause at this time in the regular season to talk about pitching prospect Eric Surkamp, who just may be the best pitching prospect in all of baseball. Scouts are raving about his plus plus curveball, his nasty slider, and his 109mph fastball. He recently struck out Babe Ruth at a country fair in Nebraska. It was awesome.

As for the Giants, well, I predict they are going to make the playoffs, take out the Braves in 4, the Phillies in 6, and then crush their American League foe, who, surprisingly enough, will not be the Yankees or Red Sox or Rays, but rather the upstart surprise team of the year, the Kansas City Royals.

Heard it here first.
